How does the XP system work?

The XP system awards Experience Points (XP) for every message sent, allowing users to level up.
All configurations are managed exclusively via the /setup command.

Available Commands

  • /level → Displays your current XP and level.
  • /leaderboard → Shows the server leaderboard.

Configuration Options (only in Setup)

  • Enable or disable the XP system.
  • Exclude specific roles (users with these roles will not earn XP).
  • Exclude specific channels (messages in these channels will not grant XP).

Language Support

All responses adapt to the language selected in /setup (EN/DE).
Translations are validated automatically to avoid missing entries.

Permissions

  • All Users: Can use /level and /leaderboard.
  • Server Owner Only: Has access to the /setup command.

Notes

  • Excluded roles keep their current XP but stop gaining new XP.
  • Messages in excluded channels do not grant XP.
  • Slash commands themselves do not grant XP.
  • Perfect for excluding muted roles or channels like #bot-commands.
