AutoMod – Automatic Moderation System

Lexora’s AutoMod feature helps detect and respond to unwanted behavior – keeping your server safe and clean even when no moderators are online.

🔍 Current Features (Early Version)

The current version of AutoMod includes basic automated detection for:

Detection TypeBehavior
🤬 Profanity FilterDetects and warns users for offensive language
📢 Spam FilterDetects repeated messages or message floods
🔠 Caps Lock AbuseDetects excessive usage of ALL CAPS in messages

⚙️ How It Works

  • If a rule is triggered, the bot automatically warns the user (using /warn)

  • A log entry is created in the configured log channel

  • Warnings are stored and can be viewed via /warnings or cleared via /clearwarnings

🛠️ Future Plans (Coming Soon)

Lexora’s AutoMod system will soon support:

  • ✅ Fully customizable keyword lists (for profanity, links, etc.)

  • 🕒 Action escalation (e.g. 3 warnings = mute/ban)

  • 👮 Role-based exclusions (e.g. staff bypass)

  • 🎛️ Toggle each filter on/off via /setup

🧪 Current Limitations

  • The current system uses a default blacklist (English & German)

  • Configuration options are limited but evolving quickly

  • False positives are possible in edge cases

💬 If you want to disable AutoMod entirely, contact Lexora support – a toggle is coming soon to /setup

📌 Notes

  • AutoMod is always improving – feedback is welcome

  • Works best when paired with:

    • The Log System (to track actions)

    • Moderation roles (to avoid interfering with staff)
