/help – Interactive Command Overview
The
/help
command gives users an interactive and categorized overview of all available commands – tailored to your server’s language and setup.
📦 How It Works
/help
- Sends an embed message with a dropdown menu
- Each dropdown option represents a command category
- Upon selection, a new embed shows the related commands with:
- 🔹 Command name
- 🔹 Short description
- 🔹 Syntax or usage hint
🧭 Categories (Example)
Category | Includes… |
---|---|
⚙️ Setup & Config | /setup , /language , /config |
🔨 Moderation | /warn , /mute , /ban , /clear |
🛠️ Utility | /ping , /remindme , /timer |
🎟️ Tickets | /ticketpanel , /transcripts |
💬 Community | /suggest , /bug , /umfrage |
🧑 User Info | /userinfo , /serverinfo |
Note: Only categories with active features on your server are shown.
🌍 Language Support
- The entire
/help
system adapts to your server’s configured language (EN/DE) - Translations are pulled dynamically from the internal language files
🔐 Permissions
- Everyone can use
/help
– it’s always public - Commands in the list still respect permission restrictions:
- E.g., moderation commands are visible, but not usable without the right role
📌 Notes
- The help dropdown updates automatically after setup changes
- Great for onboarding new users and exploring Lexora’s features
