Suggestion System
Give your community a voice.
With Lexora’s Suggestion System, users can submit ideas and vote – while admins manage feedback transparently.
🧭 How to Use
/suggest
- Opens a modal form with:
- 🔹 Title
- 🔹 Description
- The suggestion is sent as an embed to the configured suggestion channel
🛠️ Configuration via /setup
- Choose a Suggestion Channel
- Define which roles are allowed to accept or reject suggestions
- Language is automatically based on your server’s selected language (EN/DE)
🗳️ Voting Features
- Each suggestion gets automatic ⬆️ / ⬇️ reactions
- Community members can vote instantly
- Suggestions are tagged with a unique ID, e.g.
SUG-0015
(shown in the embed footer)
⚙️ Admin Controls
Admins or designated roles can interact with suggestions using buttons:
Button | Action |
---|---|
✅ Accept | Marks the suggestion as accepted |
❌ Reject | Marks the suggestion as rejected |
When a decision is made:
- The embed gets updated (with new color and status)
- The original submitter is notified via DM, including the decision reason
🚫 Channel Protection
- Only the bot can send messages in the suggestion channel
- If a user sends a regular message, it is automatically deleted
→ The user receives a DM explaining how to properly submit suggestions
📌 Notes
- All suggestions remain visible unless manually deleted
- Works best when combined with the Log System and Mod Roles
- Supports multilingual replies (based on server language)
